Driver's assessment program

A brain injury may have forced you out of the driver’s seat. Or you may worry about a family member’s driving ability -- for their safety and that of others. Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center offers a driver’s assessment and training program to address these concerns.

In our office, a patient is tested for knowledge of traffic rules, reaction time, vision, depth perception and other cognitive skills. On the road, the patient is put through a basic driving skills test in real-life situations.

Tests are administered by state-certified specialists and evaluators who provide comprehensive, standardized information to you and your referring physician.

The assessment helps determine whether it’s best for you to continue driving. It can help you regain your driving skills.
