Vision Rehabilitation
You may have glasses, but your corrective lenses don’t do it all. You may not be
able to read, drive or distinguish distances or color shades. Left untreated, this
condition may limit what you are able to do – and limit your sense of safety and
of freedom.
Polinsky
Medical Rehabilitation Center’s low-vision therapy allows you to regain
eye acuity, which may be lost through macular degeneration, cataract, glaucoma or
diabetes. We also teach compensatory strategies through the use of
DynaVision for people who have lost parts of their fields of vision.
Our therapists evaluate your ability to see and teach you techniques so you can
use your remaining eyesight better. We can also help you find the right assistive
device.
