Wheelchair, seating evaluations

Adaptive equipment may be necessary to help you function and achieve your highest possible level of independence.

Our experts at Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center will help you comfortably adjust to the right bath chair, electronic communication device, wheelchair or other adaptive equipment. And if we don’t have it, we’ll put you in touch with vendors that do.

We have three therapists who have been trained and certified in evaluating people and matching them with the right adaptive equipment. We also have resources, such as the X-Sensors Pressure Mapping System, which helps our staff assess pressure on your weight-bearing areas so they can properly fit your equipment to you and keep you more comfortable.
