Neonatal/Comprehensive Developmental Clinics

Neonatal and Comprehensive Developmental Clinics at Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center provide developmental and nutritional assessment and care for infants, preschoolers and school-age children.

The evaluation includes:
• Identifying developmental, learning and social delays • Determining significance of delays and behavior problems • Determining need for further assessment • Recommending participation in educational or therapeutic programs • Linking children and families to needed services • Providing comprehensive reports to parents and healthcare providers Children are referred to the Neonatal and Comprehensive Developmental Clinics by their physician. We’ll help you set up an appointment. At Polinsky, you’ll work with doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, physical therapists, and social services case mangers to assess what is best for your child. Our staff has extensive experience working with families. We help coordinate a wide range of services offered at Polinsky and throughout the SMDC Health System.
